Finland’s first fell hotel, a great monument to functionalism, was designed in 1938 by architects Väinö Vähäkallio and Aulis Hämäläinen. After the Second World War the traditional Lapland Hotel Pallas was built. The living spaces, highlighted by the breathtaking scenery, comfortably fit in with today’s style. The library is full with stories by guests who submitted their experiences for others to read. A weekly program that considers the guests’ wishes contains downhill skiing as well as pancake making. Some of the most popular activities are ski trips, guided by the Owls of Pallas. There is permission to have a small meeting — of a kind — in the Owls’ loft.

In our hotel, check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 12 noon. Please contact the reception if you would like to request a late check-out. The extra fee for a late check-out is 25–50 €.
Our breakfast is built around authentic Nordic cuisine and natural ingredients and is served daily from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Breakfast is included in the room rate for guests staying with us. The price of the breakfast for diners not staying at our hotel is 18 € /person, children 4–12 years old for 9 € /person.
The hotel’s saunas can be used by our guests daily from afternoon to early evening. The use of the public sauna is included in the room rate.
We are easy to reach by car. There are plenty of parking spaces in the yard of the hotel, free of charge. Each apartment has its own parking space with a heating outlet.
Do you drive an electric car?
The hotel has 2 electric car parking spaces. The electric charge of car is paid through the Plugit Cloud application or through Plugitcloud one-time payment service. Price 20 € /transaction. Parking at the electric charging station is allowed only during charging.
The maximum wattage of the charging station is 11–22 kW, and it is compatible with all fully electric cars and chargeable hybrids. You will need to bring your own Type 2 cable suited for charging.
Additional beds are available for some of our rooms. Check availability with the hotel. For guests under the age of 4, cots are available free of charge for most room types. Cots need to be booked in advance.
Our hotel also has pet friendly rooms available for an extra fee of 20 € per accommodation. Check availability with the hotel.
The hotel shop at our reception is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and sells beverages, souvenirs and gifts.
