Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara is located in the middle of a landscape that opens to the horizon, snow-burdened trees, rugged rocks and the light of the nightless night. The northern world charms you as soon as you open the hotel’s front door — the slopes of the ski centre, ski tracks in the first snow, and amazing biking paths all bring you close to the nature. The rooms of the fully renewed classic hotel combine the high-quality materials of Lapland and the presence of nature outside the large windows. The soft glow of a fireplace sets the atmosphere in the hotel lobby.
The Northern Lights, the Polar Circle, Santa Claus, Science Centre and Museum Arktikum, theatres and the unique fell landscape in the middle of the Ounasvaara nature — right in the middle of town. Our hotel is situated next to the first class recreational possibilities of the Ounasvaara Ski Resort and Santasport as well as the events at Lappi Areena.
Check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 12 noon.
Please contact the reception if you would like to request a late check-out. We charge an extra fee of € 10 per hour for late check-outs.
Our breakfast is built around authentic Nordic cuisine and natural ingredients and is served in the Sky Kitchen & View restaurant. Breakfast is included in the room rate for guests staying with us. Breakfast can also be ordered and enjoyed in the room for an additional price.
Customers who are not staying the night with us are also welcome to have breakfast here. Table reservations on the Sky Kitchen & View website.

We are easy to reach by car. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel, free of charge. Heating outlets are also available.
Do you drive an electric car?
The hotel has 2 electric car parking spaces. The electric charge of car is paid through the Plugit Cloud application or through Plugitcloud one-time payment service. Price 20 € /transaction. Parking at the electric charging station is allowed only during charging.
The maximum wattage of the charging station is 11–22 kW, and it is compatible with all fully electric cars and chargeable hybrids. You will need to bring your own Type 2 cable suited for charging. More detailed instructions for using the charging station are available at the station itself.
Our saunas are heated every day from 17–21. Men and women have separate saunas. The saunas are free of charge for guests staying at our hotel.
Additional beds are available for all room types. For guests under the age of 4, cots are available free of charge for all room types. Cots need to be booked in advance.
Our hotel also has pet friendly rooms available for an extra fee of € 20 per accommodation. Check availability with the hotel.
