Lapland Hotels Pallas is Finland's first fell hotel, originally built in 1938 and reopened after the war in 1948. The cozy hotel's spring week program caters to the wishes of guests, featuring activities like skiing, snowboarding, and pancake making. The most popular ski trips led by the Pallaksen Pöllöt take guests off the beaten path to places many have never visited. In the evening, it’s nice to gather in the communal lounge or sit in the hotel's old library, which tells stories of previous guests who left their reading experiences to be shared with others.

Ski Resort in the backyard

The Pallas Ski Resort, a true paradise for free riders, is located in the hotel's backyard. The slopes of Pallas Ski Resort are not artificially snowed; instead, the whole concept is based on nature-oriented activities. You can purchase lift tickets at the hotel reception.

You can also reach the hotel using public transportation. Buses operate from Kolarin train station to Pallastuntur. For precise schedules, visit the Matkahuolto website.
