Summer in Rovaniemi smells of smoke and BBQ delicacies! The super-popular Savurafla is located on Kotisaari island in Rovaniemi, in an old boathouse, accessible only by boat along the beautiful Kemijoki River.
At the heart of Savurafla is a traditional smoker, which completes the smokery experience. The venue's charm lies in its simplicity, with long wooden tables inviting diners to come together for a cozy evening. Interesting details, like an old fishing net hanging from the ceiling, add to the ambiance.

In the spirit of the timber floating era, the island is surrounded by greenery, free from asphalt or air conditioning. The restaurant honors the island's history as a base for loggers, and this history lives on in the island's old buildings.
