Lapland Hotels Kuopio draws its strength from the crisp clear northern winters and the summer’s warmth among the fells. The ambiance in our rooms is a tribute to the cosy atmosphere and top-notch quality that are characteristic of the North. Everything is built around dream-like northern moments that you can enjoy in the unique, custom-made beds of our hotel.
Our six meeting venues on the hotel’s conference floor tell our story to groups and conference guests as well. In our magnificent setting, visitors can take a seat by the fireplace and take a tour of the vast open landscape of the North.

Breakfast is included in all our room rates. Breakfast can also be ordered and enjoyed in the room for an additional price of 27€/person.
Customers who are not staying the night with us are also welcome to have breakfast here. Breakfast costs 27€ / adult. Table reservations on the Galla Kitchen & Barin website.
The hotel has 28 parking spaces on the upper and lower courtyards and 40 parking spaces in the parking garages. Access to the lower courtyard and the garages is from Puijonkatu. The upper courtyard is accessed from Myllykatu. The lower courtyard also offers one parking place for disabled. Parking is paid at the reception. Outdoor parking spaces 12€/night, garage 20€/night. Please be noticed that the garage door is 2 metres high. The number of parking places is limited. Some of the garage places can be reserved in advance, 30€/night.
The hotel has 2 electric car parking spaces. The electric charge of car is paid through the Plugit Cloud application or through Plugitcloud one-time payment service. Price 20 € /transaction. Parking at the electric charging station is allowed only during charging.
Our saunas are open from Sunday to Friday from 18–22 and on Saturdays 16–22 free of charge for our hotel guests. The saunas are located on the -1 floor.

On Friday, November 29th, 2024, the saunas will be exceptionally out of service due to a private event. Sauna access will resume as normal on Saturday.
The gym is located next to saunas and open daily 6–22 for our guests.
On Friday, November 29th, 2024, our fitness facility will be exceptionally open from 6 AM to 4 PM due to a private event. Normal access to the gym will resume on Saturday.
Pet friendly rooms available for an additional pet fee of 25 € / stay.
Extra beds are available for all room types when booked in advance: Extra beds 30 € / adult and 15 € / child.
Baby cots are available to all rooms.
The shop is open 24/7 and sells beverages, souvenirs and presents to bring back home.

GALLÁ KITCHEN & BAR
For years, the lake had endured the frosts of winter and the angry winds of summer. Sometimes the surface was beautiful and calm, and in other times it frothed with impetuous rage. Many yearned for the open waters, as the crystal-clear lake offered an abundance of treasures, and often the locals found their own worth measured as the weight of their catch.
It was never easy, even though the summer’s sun occasionally warmed the fishermen's face. Perhaps for this reason, the legend of one fisherman was often told among the people of Lapland. The man returned from the lake empty-handed, ice cold. He closed off his timber cabin, packed up his family’s belongings and set off north. To a country where the landscape reached for the sky and ice covered the bare fell tops almost around the year.
Once, while working with his reindeer, this man of legend said that despite his move to the fells, the power of the lake never stopped amazing him. In his skin he had tattooed the name Gallá, in honour of the mighty Lake Kallavesi.

Javri is a cabinet space connected to Gallá, offering your group a chance to enjoy our modern northern flavours in private.
Our restaurant seats a total of approximately 150 customers.
The lobby area features also our 60-seat Lounge Bar.
