This year, as part of the Lapland Hotels SnowVillage ice exhibition, there is also a celebration space made of snow and ice, where various events can be held, such as weddings and ceremonies. The space is decorated according to the underwater theme and features the sound of whale songs. It has been named “Valhaan laulu” in Meänkieli.

Ceremony space
The ceremony space is a true gem for celebrating your important day! The chapel in the ceremony space is different every year, making it a unique and stunning option for significant events. The design and construction of the chapel are entrusted to the world's most skilled ice and snow sculptors. It is built to accommodate approximately 50 people each time. The temperature inside is always between -2 and -5 degrees Celsius, so it's advisable to dress warmly in winter clothing and wear proper winter shoes to avoid slipping.
Wilderness chapel
The beautiful and rustic wilderness chapel, located within the grounds of Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, has been serving as a wedding venue since 2000. The chapel is constructed from logs gathered from various parts of Finland, with the oldest dating back to 1914. The wilderness chapel has seating for around 20 guests. A fire is lit in the fireplace for the ceremony, and the interior and entrance are decorated with candles, creating a romantic atmosphere in the small chapel. The temperature inside is typically around +15 to +18 degrees Celsius.
