Enchanting porridge Lapland Hotels style

Drawing from Lapland's ancient wisdom, we also prepare Lapland Hotels' long-simmered porridge. Its recipe is designed to make every breakfast moment leisurely and meaningful.
How to prepare Hurmos porridge at home
For Two People
Step 1:
2 dl oat grains
8 dl hot water
7 g / 2 tsp salt
Mix the ingredients and place them in a baking dish. Cover the dish with foil. Simmer in the oven at 110°C for about 3 hours, until the grains have opened and the liquid has been absorbed. Allow to cool. You can also do this step the night before.
Step 2:
Add to the base:
3 dl red milk
15 g / 1–2 tsp butter
Mix all the ingredients together. Cover with foil. Place the dish back in the oven at 110°C and let it simmer for about another hour, until the consistency is porridge-like. Remove the porridge from the oven and let it rest on the table for about 10 minutes. Stir and enjoy.
