Pallas hiihtokeskus
Pallas is the most authentic and traditional ski fell, a true paradise for freeriders. The breathtaking scenery of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, the world’s cleanest air, and the vastness of the fells create a mesmerizing atmosphere that can only be fully appreciated in person. The ski resort’s slopes are not artificially snowed; instead, the entire concept is rooted in a nature-centric approach. The slopes are also untouched by machinery, allowing skiing to be as natural as possible, guided by the stunning natural contours and shapes of the landscape.
Ski Resort opening hours
The slopes will open on 15.2.2025 at 10.
The slopes will be open daily 10–17 until the end of the season.
Lift tickets and equipment rental
Lift tickets for Pallas can be purchased at the reception of Lapland Hotels Pallas. At the other end of the same building, you will find our rental shop, which offers basic equipment for winter sports. The entrance to the rental shop is at the right side of the parking lot, with stairs leading down to the lower level.
With the Olos/Pallas lift ticket, you can ski at both fells, as well as at Luosto and Ounasvaara. For lift tickets valid for six days or longer, as well as seasonal tickets, you can also ski for one day at Ylläs, excluding the 6/7 day Olos/Pallas ticket.
All lift tickets are loaded onto a contactless KeyCard, which is not included in the lift ticket prices. The price for a rechargeable KeyCard is €7. You can purchase one for yourself and return it to our ticket sales after use. We will refund €3 for the returned card, so the rental price for the card is €4 per use. KeyCard cards are valid at all ski resorts using the SkiData system!
Pallas ski trails
The Muonion Mainiot Trails is a network of ski trails constructed and maintained jointly by tourism businesses and the municipality of Muonio. The responsibility for trail maintenance lies with the trail pool, which has access to good and appropriate equipment. The machine-groomed trail network spans approximately 200 km, with some trails running through the national park.
Popular skiing destinations include Nammalkuru, Vuontispirtti, Raattama, Jeris, Olos, and Torassieppi. A highlight of spring is the opportunity to ski the Hetta-Pallas route. In the vicinity of the hotel, there are also 3.5 km and 10 km trails maintained by the hotel staff. The municipalities of Tunturi-Lappi are connected by the trails, allowing enthusiastic skiers to easily experience about a thousand kilometers of trails.
Restaurants
Lapland Hotels Pallas' restaurant and bar serve skiers and snowboarders with a delicious à la carte menu featuring flavors of the North, along with café products.
Romanssikahvio
Romanssikahvio is one of the most well-known spots in our ski resort. You can reach it by skiing down to the right from the upper station of the front lift or using a connecting slope from the third exit point to the so-called back lift. The steps of Romanssikahvio are perfect for basking in the spring sun. The café offers everything from hot chocolate to donuts.
Kota
The small and intimate kota is located at the base of the front lift. The fire in the kota burns in accordance with the opening hours of the ski lifts, providing a cozy place for families to warm up or enjoy a pleasant lunch together.
