Olos first snow ski track from 28.10.

The Olos first snow ski track opens on 28.10.2024. It is known for its demanding profile.

The track, made from stored snow, is approximately 5 km long. During the day, the track and the biathlon shooting range are primarily used by national teams and competitive skiers. The least busy times are from 12–14 and 18–20.

The track is subject to a fee between 28.10.–24.11.2024. Trail passes can be purchased at the Lapland Hotels Olos reception (ticket sales open 8–20) from Monday 28.10. If tickets are purchased for multiple people, a name list should be sent to the hotel’s email in advance, and one person will collect and pay for the tickets. The trail pass must always be clearly visible on the right arm. Track supervisors will stop skiers without a pass, so please ensure you have yours to avoid disruptions. The first snow track cannot be used as a transition to natural snow tracks.

The track is reserved for competitive skiers during the FIS Olos Tykkikisa competition from 15.–17.11. The last training sessions before the competition weekend are on Wednesday 13.11. and Thursday 14.11., when the track will be free for participants of the races.
