Lapland Hotels Kilpis is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes on the shores of Lake Kilpis, right next to Saanatunturi. This retro-styled hotel is especially popular among hikers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The skiing season at Lake Kilpis can last until Midsummer, and adventurous guests can even take a helicopter to conquer nearby mountains. The hotel restaurant serves high-quality northern flavors from breakfast to dinner, and guests can unwind in the hotel's own lakeside sauna after an active day outdoors.

Lapland Hotels Kilpis apartments are available for rent during the winter season from December 1, 2024, to March 19, 2025. The hotel itself will be closed, meaning there will be no restaurant or reception services (apartments are rented without breakfast, and key collection is handled via a locked box at the hotel’s main entrance). All apartments feature a kitchen and shower, with some also including a private sauna. The lakeside saunas will be closed for the winter and are not available for private rental. Apartments can only be booked through our online store, and reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.

Lapland Hotels Kilpis is located by Kilpisjärvi on the shores of Lake Kilpisjärvi. The hotel is easily accessible by car, with a free parking area available for guests.

You can also reach the hotel using public transport. Buses operate from Muonio bus station, Kittilä airport, and Rovaniemi bus station to the hotel. More detailed schedules can be found on the Matkahuolto website.
