Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara Chalets ravintola
The restaurants at Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara Chalets change with the seasons. During the winter season, Restaurant Thulia's breakfast of northern flavors is extended to include dinner. In summer, the unique Summer Restaurant Sauna, located by the Kemijoki River, transforms into the WNTR Sauna. The Kota Restaurant, which operates as a private dining venue, is also available for reservation.
Breakfast of northern flavors
Our breakfast, based on authentic northern flavors and ingredients, is served every morning in the hotel restaurant. From the breakfast buffet, you can find northern fish, leipäjuusto (Finnish squeaky cheese), waffles, and the beloved Hurmos porridge from Lapland Hotels. The breakfast includes all the elements that kickstart a good day, showcasing Lapland hospitality and a rich selection of northern flavors for a relaxed atmosphere.
You can also enjoy breakfast without staying at the hotel for €18 per person (children aged 4–12: €9 per person).

Restaurant Thulia
Restaurant Thulia is an atmospheric, Lapland-style evening restaurant, open in the evenings from November to early April. The dining area can be divided into three sections, making it suitable for groups of various sizes. The restaurant features three beautiful natural stone fireplaces and a large outdoor terrace with a fireplace. Whether it’s summer or winter, the atmosphere at Thulia creates the perfect setting for memorable celebrations.

Lobby Bar
The hotel lobby bar is a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of something cold. The lobby bar serves guests during the reception's opening hours.
Kota Restaurant by reservation
The cozy kota, traditional Lappish hut, is a piece of authentic Lapland. In this comfortable setting, you can enjoy dining by an open fire. The atmosphere and warmth of the kota are enhanced by a large fireplace and a separate stove. The kota can accommodate up to 35 people.
Kotaravintola hosts kota evenings on Thursdays during the autumn and spring. The kota menu and reservation details and conditions are attached. At other times, the kota restaurant can be reserved for groups by request.
